Welcome to the Valkyrie: Team 14!
Valkyries the SCE brightest mobile engineering teams, that are deployed in various hazard situations through the galaxy. They are deployed with planetary evacuation, building, support in war efforts or simply repair duties that are required to be done by Starfleet. They are assigned towards shipyards, starbase or outpost to give them the supporting edge they require to finish the job.
The concept of the Valkyries has been taking in more to the liking of the Bravo Fleet experimental assignment of the USS Ajax. In Starfleet eyes, a huge success and more of these kinds of teams will be deployed in various Task Forces. One of those teams is Team 14, under the leadership of Lieutenant Waltz towards Task Force 72. Team 14 is assigned towards Starbase 72, while it is stationed there, they answer both towards the Starbase Command staff and SCE. The USS Earhart, an Argo Class, and the USS Genesis, an Arrow Class, is assigned towards this team for deployment.

Welcome towards August Team! This is a general recap report that I will start using every month to keep everyone in the loop of things that are happening and has happened. So hope it helps!
The only change is that the Computer Specialist has become vacant as the old one resigned due to personal reasons. But the challenger has arrived in our discord, who is interested in taking this position!
It has been a slow month, but that is totally understandable. It is the summer break and people are getting busy with the holidays. So little time to write and more time with the family :) But I still try to keep things going, the only thing I ask of you all is that you inform the Command team if you need an LOA due holiday or whatever reason that prevents you from responding!
While the flotilla is conducting the final scans and waiting for the hospital vessel to arrive at the DS7 ruins to collect the bodies. Commander Hayes orders the Valkyries to go towards an SOS signal. Team 14 is traveling towards the Wau system, deep in expanse to assist a Starfleet vessel with required repairs.
Update: Due that the communication systems are damage is a JP gone out that Team 14 is MIA. Unknown to the team, the flotilla at DS7 is ordered to return towards Federation space due to the recent events happening in the Expanse.
Team 14 was about to leave the scene until they received a weak SOS signal, Lieutenant Waltz orders the Genesis on an intercept course towards the signal.
Player of the Month
Ensign Haas: For this month the Command Team came to an agreement that even if it was a quiet month, it was not all to quiet due the active contribution of Ensign Haas. Therefore for this month, the nominations go towards him. Thanks for the contribution!

It has been a rollercoaster for us, but the first mission is concluded, the conclusion? Deep Space 7 is really destroyed and the black box is now on route back to Starbase72 for further investigation. We thank Warrant Officer Cipher, Petty Officer 3rd Class Keth Soban, Ensign William Murphy and the short stay of Petty Officer 2nd Class Val'kyr Legba for their contribution towards Team 14! We wish them good luck in future endeavors on other assignments through the fleet.
We like to welcome Ensign Avaliyn Sh'kythol as our new Ace Pilot that will pilot the USS Genesis, USS Earhart and USS Da Vince (depending on our mission). Also welcoming is Petty Officer 1st Class 1101 & 2202 who will be our new Computer Specialist on our new adventures!
Awards will be given out in the next news item, so stay tuned!

Last week a vote was cast in terms of new supporting vessels for long distance missions. Our USS Genesis and USS Earheart are limited in the transport of goods, people and SCE tech. Therefore the team has voted for the Rhode Island class to fill this gap.
The papers are now being written as we speak to get our hands on an old dated class at Starbase 72. I had my eyes on the USS Da Vinci, we can modify it and use it at mission 3/4.
Yet the Da Vinci does not fulfill the full need of what we might need in future missions. Therefore a custom made class is required that can fill in the gaps of what we are missing. The next vote will be cast soon, so stay tuned!

Good Day Team,
I am with sadness to report to you that Ensign Murphy has decided to step down from his navigation duties within our team due personal restrains in time. He has spoken his desire to come back in the future and we welcome him back of course at that time!
Thank you for your contribution and hopefully till future plots! Ensign Murphy will receive the Retired access. He still can view our status, yet not contribute to voting or anything else on Valkyrie level.
